As part of the evangelization drive of the Catholic Diocese of Oyo, the Local Ordinary, Most Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo and the benefactors of the Diocese, donated some educational materials to some rural schools in the Diocese namely: Maryland Catholic Nursery and Primary School, Elere-pamo in Orire local government area, under Ogbomoso Catholic Deanery and St. Michael Catholic Nursery and Primary School, Ida-Ogun in Atiba Local Government Area, Oyo Deanery.

The educational materials were delivered on behalf of the Bishop by the Pastoral Secretary of the Diocese, Rev. Fr Benjamin Jolasun, in the company of the Vocations Director of the Diocese, Rev. Fr. Augustine Olayiwola and Prayer Leader George Ogunsina. The learning materials donated include standard whiteboards and markers of different colours, packs of 60 leaves notebooks, FIFA standard footballs with inflators, and ludo game.

 

While presenting the materials, the pupils and the staff were full of happiness and joy. As such, they expressed their gratitude to the Bishop and all the benefactors for this wonderful gift and prayed God to bless them in all they do in life.
