The 12th annual convention of Serra International District 130-B, themed "Igniting The Flame of Vocations in The Catholic Church Through Faith, Service and Mission," emphasized the importance of service and evangelism. Held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Maryland, Lagos, the event brought together Serrans to reflect on their mission.

Rev. Fr. Fidelis Emeka Okeke's keynote lecture highlighted vocation as an invitation to serve, show love, and have faith. He encouraged Serrans to answer God's call, noting that it brings divine fulfillment and eternal reward.

The convention also featured the Serra University of Christian Principles' first convocation, where graduands were encouraged to be ambassadors of Christ. Best students received cash prizes for their academic achievements.

District Governor Serran Oluwasegun Anjorin introduced various vocations programs, including the '31 club', '28 club', and 'Serra invitation coins program'. These initiatives aim to foster vocations and encourage prayer for an increase in vocations.

Very Rev. Fr. Melvis Mayaki urged Serrans to evaluate their relationship with God and contribute their time, talent, and treasure to Serra's vocational works. The event concluded with a prayer for vocations, led by Rev. Sisters and pupils of St. Philip Nursery and Primary School.
