The annual lay apostolate harvest organized by the Catholic Laity Council of Ibadan Archdiocese will hold on Saturday, 12th July, 2025. The event is scheduled to hold at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Basorun by 10.00am.

The Archdiocesan Laity Council through the Harvest Committee Chairman, Com Iru-Davies Bonaventure Paulson is calling on the Presidents of Parishes and lay organizations to felicitate with the Archdiocesan Laity in the harvest brochure.

Deaneries are also to sponsor the Holy pictures at the rate of N35,000. That is, a picture per deanery, not later than 8th June, 2025. The harvest brochure will be made available two weeks before the harvest and it shall be launched in all the parishes while the proceeds shall be remitted into the Archdiocesan Laity account.

As part of the arrangement for the day, vehicles shall be parked at St. Patrick Grammar School, Basorun, Ibadan for adequate security. Arrangement has also been made for the visitors who would like to sleep over for the ceremony.

As regards the bazaar sales, Parishes are to bring items for the Bazaar based on the category. We have category A - 50kg bag of rice, category B - Three bags of 10kg Semovita, category C- Three cartons of indomie, category D-10 litres of vegetable oil and category E-Fresh farm products. It should be noted that no credit will be allowed for the sales, all payments should be made into this account.

Parishes are enjoined to make prompt payment of their levies. Parish Presidents are to mobilize their Parishioners to attend the ceremony. Parishes shall cater for their members as regards entertainment.

There's also going to be pleasant cool music after the Bazaar for the entertainment of guests. It's going to be a banga of good vibes all through.

Furthermore, priests from all the Parishes in the Archdiocese are expected to attend the ceremony.
