Mr. Samuel. B. Afolabi, PPC Chairman of the parish described the parish priest thus: “Very Rev. Fr. Benedict is the current Parish Priest of St Joseph Oke Ado, the Parish of reality. He has been a very Wonderful, Hardworking, Caring, Humble, Loving, and Listening Priest. His working with us in Oke Ado for about two years has been very impacful, eventful and progressive both spiritually and in developmental environment.
“He loves the people, wants them to progress, praying for them for breakthrough day and night. He has been sustaining the existing prayer programmes and introducing new ones to keep everybody busy in prayerful relationship with God.
“He has this to be saying to the Congregation a times during Mass, "You will be blessed either you like or not, because I will be praying for you every day. That is my work. Just have faith".
He deserves to be celebrated and honoured anytime, any day.
“The Parishioners of Oke Ado are happy to have him in our midst. His receptive and embracing approach to people make him very dear to all.”
Similarly, St Joseph CWO President Mrs Felicity Onine also has this to say of Fr. Ugwoegbu: “Happy 20th Anniversary of your priestly ordination! Twenty years of serving God's people with love, dedication, and compassion. Your tireless efforts to spread the Gospel and bring people closer to Christ have not gone unnoticed.
