In a heartwarming display of faith and community spirit, Mater Dei Catholic Church in Gbopa, Ibadan, played host to the Catholic Archbishop of Ibadan Archdiocese in a visit that will be etched in the memories of parishioners for a long time.

The visit, which commenced on Friday with a thorough inspection of the Church premises and proposed building projects, culminated in a vibrant Sunday Mass. During the Mass, the Archbishop administered the sacrament of confirmation on 17 devoted candidates, marking a significant milestone in their spiritual journeys.

In a gesture of ecclesiastical recognition, the Archbishop expressed his profound admiration for the parish's structural developments, noting that Mater Dei Catholic Church has convincingly demonstrated its worthiness of the parish status conferred upon it. The Archbishop extended his heartfelt appreciation to the priest, Church councils, and the entire lay faithful for their tireless efforts in propelling the Church forward.

The inauguration of the newly elected CMO executives added another layer of significance to the visit, as the Archbishop pledged his support for their leadership endeavors.
