
Oke Ado Deanery Catechist Holds Quarterly Meeting
The Cathechists from Oke Ado Deanery helds their quarterly meeting on Saturday 16th of August, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Idi Ayunre.
The quarterly meeting started with rosary prayer, followed by Holy Mass which was celebrated by the Dean of Oke Ado Deanery who is also the Parish Priest of St. Michael Catholic Church, Idi Ayunre. Very Rev. Fr. Oniseitan Olatunji Matthew,
After the Mass, there was talk delivered by the host Parish Priest on the topic: "CALL TO GOD."
The Parish Priest and Dean Oke Ado Deanery - Very Rev. Fr. Oniseitan, Matthew Olatunji prayed, welcomed and reiterated the facts that God call people for a particular reasons and different purposes. He cited Bible references when God call Abraham, Samuel, Jonah and Apostles for different mission.
Very Rev. Fr. Oniseitan, Matthew Olatunji admonished the Catechists from Oke Ado Deanery to be ready at all times and work for God because they are equally important to the service and to the call of God.
The talk was concluded with few questions entertained by the parish priest and responses were given accordingly after which their quarterly meeting presided by the President, Cathechist James Makinde was held.
