Fidelis ENWEMEKA

 

 

It was a wonderful reunion as Very Rev. Fr. Clement Ajibola Ashade, the parish priest of St. Peter's Catholic Church Iganmode Road Ota Ogun State, Abeokuta Diocese met his old time teacher, Snr. Apostle Solomon Durojaiye Abiona on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

 

 

The occasion was the Thanksgiving Mass of Mother’s Joy Group of Schools, Ota owned by a parishioner, Prince Dominic Ogundipe (KSM).

 

 

Fr. Ashade recounted the wonderful moments he had with Mr. Abiona whom he described as a great teacher and a disciplinarian. He thanked him for planting in him the seeds of knowledge and character that will continue to blossom throughout his lifetime.

 

 

Mr. Abiona who is in his late 70s taught Fr. Ashade Physical and Health Education (PHE) from 1988-1994. He is currently a Counsellor at Mother's Joy Group of Schools, Ota.
