In a vibrant celebration of faith, culture, and creativity, the Catholic Artistes and Entertainers Association of Nigeria (CAEAN), under the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan, is set to host the "Festival of Arts" with the theme "Echoes of Creativity." This event was officially unveiled during the Archdiocesan Monthly General Meeting held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

 

The festival, scheduled to take place on November 29, 2025, by 10:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Mokola, Ibadan invites cultural groups from independent organizations and parishes to participate in the exciting competitions of Cultural Dance and Drama. Attractive cash prizes await the top three winners, with consolation prizes for all participants, ensuring everyone who takes part feels valued and appreciated.

 

A highlight of the day will be the Award Giving Ceremony, where outstanding talents will be recognized and honored. Additionally, esteemed Patrons and Patronesses will be inducted into the association, solidifying their commitment to the mission and values of CAEAN.

 

The festival will be judged by a panel of esteemed judges: Amb. Edith Isidahomen, Mr. Ropo Ewenla (Chief Judge), and Mr. Soji Gbelekale. Prizes for the top performers include ₦200,000 for 1st position, ₦100,000 for 2nd position, and ₦50,000 for 3rd position. There will also be consolation prizes for all participants at the competition.
