Vincent OBANIYI, SCC, Oyo Diocese.
The Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of the Diocese, accompanied by their Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Anthony Adepoju, together with Mrs. Adeyemi Dorcas Taiwo (President) and Mrs. Ogunkunle Esther Adetoye (Secretary), paid a courtesy visit to the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Oyo, Most Rev. Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo, to render an account of their recent harvest and seminar, and to extend financial support to the Seminarians.
In his remarks, Bishop Badejo commended the CWO executives for their commitment, transparency, and dedication to the Mission of the Church. He further encouraged all societies in the Church to emulate such accountability and to continually support vocations.
According to the Bishop, supporting the formation of Seminarians is not only a responsibility but also a vital investment in the future of the Church. He urged societies to remain transparent in the management of their finances while contributing actively to the growth of the Diocese.
The Bishop prayed for God’s abundant blessings upon the CWO and all societies who remain steadfast in promoting the work of evangelization and fostering vocations.
