On February 14, 2026, Rev. Sr. Cynthia Chinazaekpere Azughara DHS, Vice Provincial of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit congregation in Nigeria, paid a courtesy visit to the DHS community at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Iganmode Road, Ota, in the Abeokuta Diocese.

Installed on July 27, 2025, as the 4th Nigerian Vice Provincial Superior of the DHS, Sr. Cynthia was invited by the Sisters to witness the Night of Praise—a special programme organized by the Ozanam Physiotherapy Center Ota in collaboration with the DHS Sisters and the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The event, dedicated to supporting physically challenged persons, was sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, an interdenominational non-Christian organization based in Georgia, USA.

In her address, delivered on her behalf by Sr. Rosemary Etim DHS, Sr. Cynthia expressed joy at being associated with such a noble initiative. She emphasized that caring for the poor, needy, and physically challenged is central to the apostolate of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit. She offered prayers for all involved, especially Sr. Florentina Echem DHS, whose dedication to the physiotherapy center has been remarkable.

Sr. Cynthia, originally from Aba Diocese in Isialangwa North Local Government Area of Abia State, made her first religious profession in 1994.
