New CWO Executives Elected at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Ajobo, Ojoo, Ibadan, Oyo state.

The Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church elected new executives on Sunday, April 12, 2026, immediately after the 7:00 a.m. Mass.
The election, conducted by Archdiocesan CWO Representatives, began with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, for divine guidance and a successful election. In an address, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Christopher Olupooye, urged members to accept leadership roles with courage, expressing confidence that God would guide the process and pick leaders who would move the organization forward.
Nominations were subsequently taken for various offices, followed by a secret ballot voting system. After the collation of votes, the following members were elected: Mrs. Felicia Kaainjo (President), Mrs. Charity Chizoba (Vice President), Mrs. Theresa Ohaeri (General Secretary), Mrs. Gladys Alimansuya (Assistant General Secretary), Mrs. Damilola Otseke (Financial Secretary), Mrs. Caroline Ahuaza (PRO I), Mrs. Dorathy Igwurube (PRO II), Mrs. Joy Agbakwuruchukwu (Welfare I), Mrs. Elizabeth Obed (Welfare II), and Mrs. Roseline Obio (Treasurer).
The Archdiocesan Representatives congratulated the new executives and encouraged them in their service. Concluding the exercise, Rev. Fr. Christopher Olupooye thanked God for a successful election and charged the executives to discharge their duties with diligence and dedication.
The election marks the beginning of a new phase of leadership, as members look forward to continued growth, unity, and service under the new executives.
