The Ibadan Archdiocese Guild of St. Anthony of Padua successfully held its annual Feast Retreat on 6th June, 2026 at St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church, Ring Road, Ibadan, commencing at 10:00 a.m.

The retreat, themed "Rediscovering Our Christian Identity through the Virtues of St. Anthony," brought together members of the Guild and other faithful for a day of spiritual renewal, reflection, prayer, fellowship, and celebration of faith.

 

Participants were enriched through an inspiring retreat talk, moments of quiet reflection, testimonies, personal prayer, Divine Mercy devotion, and the celebration of the Holy Mass. The programme provided an opportunity for attendees to deepen their relationship with God while drawing inspiration from the exemplary virtues of St. Anthony of Padua.

 

Many attendees expressed gratitude for the enriching experience and described the retreat as a memorable encounter with God that strengthened their faith and renewed their commitment to Christian living.

 

The Guild members thanked God for the success of the retreat and appreciated all members and clergy, whose presence contributed to a fruitful and grace-filled celebration.
