WHAT ARE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?

Positively, we sanctify the Lord’s Day by relaxing, spending quality time with our families and doing charitable work for others like the elderly, poor and needy, we also, make Sunday holy by reading, reflecting, meditating, enjoying nature and pursuing cultural activities that refresh the mind, heart and spirit.

Because of the critical nature of their jobs and vocations, some people have to work on Sundays. However, they should also take care to set aside time for rest, prayer and reflection. Christians especially should be careful not to make unnecessary demands on others on Sundays, demands that would prevent them from enjoying the Sabbath rest.

A commitment to refrain from unnecessary work and business activities that would keep us from worshipping God or relaxing the mind and body will help us observe the spirit of the third commandment.
