Church of the Ascension, Bodija, Ibadan, has marked a memorable milestone with the maiden edition of its Valentine’s Day celebration for this year.

The event brought together youths and young couples for an afternoon of fun, reflection, and meaningful conversations. 

The programme featured interactive games, insightful talks from young married couples, and an exciting competition designed to foster love, faith, and responsible relationships. 

Speaking at the occasion, the Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Peace Jemibor urged the youth to embrace the spirit of love with wisdom and purpose, reminding them that true love is rooted in values that strengthen good relationships and faith. 

The event was a resounding success, leaving participants inspired and looking forward to hosting future editions.
