YCWM IBADAN ARCHDIOCESE HOLDS HER ELECTION.

In a bid to continue its wave of change in the Archdiocese, the YOUNG CHRISTIAN WORKERS MOVEMENT (YCWM) had her Second Quarter Meeting and the election of new officers at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Oke – Ado, Ibadan, on Sunday 29th of June 2025.

The outgoing Officers who have been on acting capacity have been the driving force behind the development of the movement.

Comrade Pius Miller Onoriode who is the outgoing Archdiocesan President reminded all members that the YCW still hold its three pillars of "to educate, to represent and to lead".

As potentials leaders therefore who have been trained, he encouraged members to participate in the election with an open minds.

The outcome of the election reflects a new chapter as Comrade Kenneth Ugonna who is one of the national leaders emerged the new President.

The result of the election is as follows;

Comrade Kenneth Ugonna  - President; Comrade Mercy Alimiaga - Vice President; Comrade Victor Ahanara - General Secretary; Comrade Frances Achinike - Assistant General Secretary; Comrade Sixtus Nnanna – Treasurer; Comrade isioma Nwagwunor - Financial Secretary; Comrade. Albert Opaireke - Public Relations Officer; Comrade Agnes Alayande - Welfare Officer; Comrade Festus Alemor - Director of Social; and Comrade Dr. Akhere Oziegbe – Provost.
