
AICWO Celebrates 2025 Seminar/Jubilee of Women

The Archdiocese of Ibadan Catholic Women Organisation (AICWO) recently held its 2025 Seminar/Jubilee of Women at the Capuchin Franciscan Friary, Olomi Olunde, Ibadan, from Friday, August 15th to Sunday, August 17th, 2025.
The three-day event was filled with spiritual exercises, enlightening talks, and engaging activities. Rev. Fr. Francis Adedigba delivered a thought-provoking talk on Jubilee of Hope “Women: Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” Mrs. Virginia Ngerem also shared valuable insights on "Quality of a Good Leader."
Interactive Q&A sessions followed each talk, allowing participants to delve deeper into the topics.
On Saturday, the Jubilee of Women Opening Mass was celebrated by AICWO Chaplain Rev. Fr. Joseph Akinbinu. The opening ceremony, held at the community compound, featured a quiz competition, a showcase of women in traditional men's attire, and the presentation of Deanery reports.
After a keen competition, Oluyole Deanery emerged as the winner, followed by Igboora Deanery in second position and Oke-Padi Deanery in third position. Present at the event were the Ibadan Laity Council President Mr. Felix Olujide; Mr. Felix Adoroh, the CMO Archdiocesan President and Mr. Alamu Lawrence, Laity President of St. Eunance Odo-Oba.
