CYON Oluyole Deanery Inaugurates First Executive Council

History was made as the Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON), Oluyole Deanery, officially elected and inaugurated its first-ever executive council to pilot the affairs of the youth body since the deanery’s creation.

 

The landmark election brought together delegates from parishes across the deanery, who exercised their franchise in a spirit of unity and brotherhood. The emergence of this pioneering leadership team marks a new dawn for Catholic youths in Oluyole Deanery.

 

The newly elected executives are as follows: President - Angela Sunday; Vice President - Wilfred Isaac; General Secretary - Ifeoma Nwaoko; Assistant Secretary - Paul Precious; Financial Secretary - Nwokpor Solomon S.; Director for Social 1- Oyeola Christopher A; Director for Social  2 - Adesanmi Michael; Welfare 1- Anekwe  Juliet  C.; Welfare 2 - Adesanwo Mary; PRO 1 - Eze Chikere Henry; PRO 2 - Adedoyin Anthony; and Provost - Vitalis Dimejesi

 

The Deanery Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Henry Molade congratulated the new executives and described the election as a milestone in the spiritual and social development of Catholic youths in Oluyole Deanery. He encouraged the leaders to serve with humility, faith, and commitment to the mission of the Church.
