The CYON of Saint Nicholas Catholic Church, Elenusonso, an Outstation of Saint Anne Parish, Ido had their first Children/Youth Harvest Thanksgiving on Sunday, 10th August, 2025 with a heart full of praises and appreciation to GOD.

In his homily, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Francis Oyetunji dwelt extensively on the readings of the day emphasizing on the efficacy of FAITH imploring us to allow our faith in GOD help us overcome "Harvest of pains" to gain and receive "Harvest of Salvation.

Before the conclusion of the Holy Mass, the Chairman of the day, Mr Stephen Anaejionu, his brother and a friend, Mr Arinze were introduced including the mother of the day, Mrs Salome Ogbocha.

The Parish Priest prayed for them and the Children/Youth Harvest Thanksgiving activities followed with the Chairman of the day and his entourage, Mother of the day, CMO, CWO, Children, Youth, pregnant women, Parish Priest and the Religious including Catechists( Bon Martin, Eric Offorjiogu and Augustine Dimgba) danced forward turn by turn to celebrate with the CYON.

It was a glorious and joyous occasion for all Children and Youth of the Church for witnessing the first -ever Children/Youth Harvest Thanksgiving in their Parish.

The Children and Youth thanked their Parish Priest, Parents, Chairman of the day and well-wishers for their active support for the success surprising taking place at an Outstation.

The memorable occasion was concluded after the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Francis Oyetunji had expressed his joy and appreciation especially to the Chairman of the day, other dignitaries and well-wishers that accepted the invitation and physically graced the occasion
