YCS National Feast Day in Ibadan Archdiocese.

The Young Catholic Students of Ibadan Archdiocese held their annual feast day on the 22nd of February 2026 at St Joseph Catholic Church, Oke-Ado.
The event started with the holy Mass at 9:30 am presided over by two Rev. Fathers.
The homilist Rev. Fr. Henry Chinwuba, SMA cited two significant wars in history. He pointed out that we all have two wars to fight, the physical war and the spiritual war, and we need God's grace to fight and any victory won is by God's grace and presence not by our power.
The Mass ended at 11:58am.
A reception followed at the Church hall at about 12:30pm
with an Opening prayer said by an Alumni followed by the YCS Anthem.
Rev Fr. Henry Chinwuba, SMA then gave a talk which was centered on YCSers having impact and being of good values wherever they found themselves.
Rev Fr. Vincent Anuniru, Archdiocese Chaplain gave the Chaplain's welcome speech, while the President YCSer Nkwor Paschaline gave the President's welcome speech.
After all speech had been delivered, each center brought forward their reports, read it to the house and also submitted a copy.
Then the presentations followed, with Oke-Ado centre emerging 1st at drama and St Benedict Oluruntunmo centre emerging 1st at Dance.
After all presentations, a member of the YCW gave a note of advice to the YCSers, while the Menu was being shared to all present.
The President YCSer Nkwor Paschaline gave the closing remark and also led the YCS closing prayer and Anthem.
The Event ended at about 4:15pm.
