Mama Janet Aboluwade, God's faithful servant, goes home.

It was on Friday, 10th April, 2026, that the remains of late Madam Janet Aboluwade who passed on at the age of 90 years was laid to rest after the requiem Mass at St. Benedict Catholic Cathedral, Osogbo, Osun State.
The Mass was presided over by the Cathedral Administrator, Very Rev. Fr. Festus Komolafe and was concelebrated with Rev. Frs. Francis Adetunji, Stevenson Olowolagba, and Stephen Kolawole. Fr. Stevenson Olowolagba, in his homily, said “we mourn the passing on but also with gratitude and hope of late Madam Janet, a devoted mother, a faithful servant of the Church and a loving friend to many people. At the age of 90 years, she lived a long and fruitful life marked by service, prayer and love,” he said. The priest recalled that the deceased proclaimed the word of God as a Lector in the Church. She served as Church Warden and she strengthened the community through the Catholic Church.
