Honoured Altar Servers Appreciate All.
Clement OGUNLEYE
The two altar servers that were honoured for their long service at a Mass presided over by the Archbishop Emeritus, Most Rev. Dr. Felix Alaba Job on Sunday 3rd May, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oke – Ado, Ibadan have expressed their gratitude thus:
With hearts full of thanksgiving to Almighty God, we humbly express our sincere appreciation to all our loved ones, friends, and well-wishers who graced and celebrated with us on the joyful occasion of our anniversaries as altar servers.
As we have marked these remarkable milestones; Mr. Nwachinemere Onyebuchi (36 years) and Mr. Albert Opaireke (21 years) in devoted service at the altar of the Lord, we are deeply touched by the overwhelming love, prayers, and support shown to us. Your presence was not only an honour but also a testament to the unity and fellowship we share in Christ.
We are specially greatful for the grace-filled Holy Mass, presided over by the Archbishop Emeritus, Most Rev Dr. Felix Adeosin Alaba Job.
The presentation of the gift (crucifix) from the Archbishop Emeritus, Most Rev Dr. Felix Adeosin Alaba Job to both celebrants stands out as a profound symbol of our calling to continually embrace the Cross of Christ in humility, sacrifice and faithful service. This sacred gift will remain a lasting reminder of our dedication to the altar and our journey in Christ.
These years of service have been a journey of grace, sacrifice, and spiritual growth in the vineyard of the Lord. We recognize that it is by God’s unfailing mercy and strength that we have remained steadfast in His service. Your encouragement and goodwill have greatly inspired us to continue serving with humility, reverence, and dedication.
We pray that the Almighty God, whom we serve, will richly bless each and every one of you, reward your kindness, and grant you abundant grace in all your endeavors. May He strengthen our collective faith and keep us ever faithful in His presence.
Thank you for rejoicing with us and for being a part of this sacred celebration.
Thank you one, thank you all.
