The Ibadan Archdiocesan Guild of St. Anthony of Padua celebrated the Feast Day of its Patron Saint on Saturday, 13 June 2026, with Holy Masses and charitable activities across parishes where the Guild holds its meetings.

The celebrations began with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, during which members joined parishioners in thanking God for the life and witness of St. Anthony of Padua. Special prayers were offered for the Church, the Archdiocese, Guild members, and the wider community.

A major highlight of the celebration was the blessing of loaves of bread, a cherished tradition associated with St. Anthony. The blessed loaves of bread were distributed to parishioners as a symbol of God's blessings and care for His people.

In the spirit of their Patron Saint, Guild members also extended their outreach to the poor and vulnerable by distributing loaves of bread and other gifts on the streets and in homes. This act of charity reflected St. Anthony's lifelong commitment to helping those in need.

The celebration served as a reminder of the Saint's enduring legacy of faith, compassion, and service. Members renewed their commitment to living out these virtues and promoting devotion to St. Anthony through prayer, evangelization, and charitable works.

The Feast Day concluded with thanksgiving and renewed dedication to Christian service among Guild members throughout the Archdiocese.
